Joe Wyatt
Joe is the Host. Joe has been hosting the show since 1990. He did a couple of other radio shows prior to that as well. He does his best to control the chaos of The Metallic Onslaught every week. He loves all kinds of Metal, as you can hear from the show. |
Rick Horton
Rick is the 'second in command' of The Metallic Onslaught. He has been co-hosting the show since sometime in the 90's. Rick is the go-to guy when things get out of control. Rick loves music, especially Death and Black Metal... |
Metalwulf aka Randy Smith
Used to just show up on the full moon, now he's a regular, and has become slightly goofy. It may be Jeffie's fault. Jeffie eventually unmasked The Metal Wulf... Of course, Jeffie was also the only one who thought he was a real Werewolf. Randy's favorite style of music is classic Heavy Metal.
He now also usually writes the archive recaps. |
Josh Nolin
Josh started on the show in late 2006. He seems to be quite adept at sticking his foot in his mouth... in fact, it seems to be an art form to him. Music wise, Josh LOVES Old School Metal, especially NWOBHM, with Power Metal and Viking Metal coming in close behind. |
Lance
Lance has been on The Metallic Onslaught on and off for around 10 years. Lance's musical taste leans more towards Glam and Hard Rock, although he does like a bit of everything and is often an encyclopedia of musical knowledge. |
Jeffie
And last, but clearly not least, Jeffie. Jeffie started showing up in the early 2000's back when it was just Rick and Joe. Jeffie was an experiment, Azkath from The Last Exit for the Lost tried to clone himself, and it failed. Instead he got Jeffie. Looks a bit like Azkath, but that is about it. Jeffie could be called stupid, but naive is more accurate. They have killed Jeffie. Many times. Azkath always makes more. It's like a cruel joke. Everyone has now lost count of how many Jeffie's there have been.
Jeffie likes most all music, especially loves local bands, and thinks of himself as a great interviewer and main star of the show. He also has some splinter personalities like Thor and Pepe, the less said about which, the better. |
There are occasionally other guests that stop in, other members of The Last Exit for the Lost, for example, and you can find their bio's on their page. |
